Job Title: Clinical Counselor
Salary Range: Based upon experience

Position Summary: Person in this position will be responsible for the face-to-face delivery of therapeutic services.
Essential Job Functions:
Deliver treatment services to clients
Conduct group and individual therapy

Evaluate the progress of the participants assigned to their caseload
Work directly with participants to develop and implement treatment plans
Complete applicable assessments
Initiate and sustain each individual’s motivation to participate in treatment, using techniques of engagement including therapeutic relationships, individual counseling, and brief interventions based on the stages of change
Maintain individual client treatment file in accordance with agency polices and procedures, including documentation of vocational/educational activities as well as other pertinent documentation and ensure files are securely stored
Maintain all information according to the laws of confidentiality as required by the Federal Register, and company polices which prohibits making disclosure with out specific written consent of the client, or otherwise permitted.
Maintain thorough records of each client’s treatment
Submit all individual client data on a daily basis for entry into the company database.
Attend the required number of CEU’s as mandated by licensure requirements
Attend all required staff development training such as: conducting assessments, clinical skills, developing service plan, relapse prevention plans (as needed), motivation for treatment and stages of change (as applicable).
Perform any other duties as assigned
Current licensure: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Masters degree in counseling, human services, or social work.
