A typical day at Appcelerator began early. I would come into the office and finish a large portion of the work I needed to do early in the day. I would write the articles that were assigned to me and then I would look for other work that needed to be done. My manager didn't always have work to be done; but she was good about letting me create my own projects to help the company in whatever way I could. My co-workers were amiable and entertaining. The job never felt unpleasant, though it was sometimes challenging. The hardest part of the job was finding work to do when my manager was away. She requested that I only work on other projects with her approval first, so when I finished my work and I could not contact her to approve an additional article, work would hit a standstill. The most enjoyable part of the job was the people.
