Seasonal Associate, Sturtevant, WI - February 12, 2015
Working as a Seasonal Associate at Apple Holler, I had many various titles/duties. I learned everything I could so that I could be used anywhere needed. In the bakery, I helped bake goods, stock the bakery and ran the register. I cashiered in the front store and outside market as well. In the restaurant as Hostess: I greeted/sat customers, took orders, filled drinks orders and took reservations over the phone. In the restaurant as Busser: I cleared/reset tables and booths, washed dishes and stocked server stations. As a Tour Guide: I greeted and took charge of field trip patrons, delivered scripted information about the all orchards and establishment and setup/cleared picnic areas for scheduled field trip patrons. I loved the owner and management treated you as part of the family and my coworkers were lots of fun to work with. Hardest part of the job was working outside in the weather no matter what was going on. The most enjoyable part was being art of something that made family happy.
