Medical Office Staff - back and front office (Former Employee) – Salem, NH – September 2, 2017
Appledore Medical Group in Salem, NH is very poorly run by Senior Management. It falls under Healthcare Corporation of America (HCA). The Doctors, as well as the staff, are great co-workers but it is a revolving door, currently down to one Doc. This is a result of the poor senior management - regional and corporate. I was there for over 2 years.
If you can find employment at any other practice, go there.
Dr. Pace is great.
Senior Management - they are only in it for themselves, not the patients.
staff member (Current Employee) – Salem, NH – October 18, 2015
Senior management has no clue what is going on in the trenches but then, they don't seem to care. Their words are "I don't want to hear it" if you dare try to tell them how understaffed their offices are. They keep losing staff and piling more work on the few workers they have left. Everyone is looking for new jobs. No female providers are available for patients and so many of them are leaving as well. Holidays and personal time are all rolled into the big 20 - 25 days of personal time off that are your benefits. Try to take a vacation? Forget it. Not enough staff. Only senior management can take vacations. Wonderful staff but more leave every day. Want to sell your time back instead of using it? You get 50% of what it's worth. New employees start at about $14.00 an hour and after more than 8 years, you're lucky if you make $15.
Medical Office Coordinator (Current Employee) – Derry NH – August 27, 2015
The most hardest part of the job is when a patients needs our help to find specialist such as a therapist, counseling and is pleading for help, but no one will take them because of there insurance, no insurance or no room.
