Senior management has no clue what is going on in the trenches but then, they don't seem to care. Their words are "I don't want to hear it" if you dare try to tell them how understaffed their offices are. They keep losing staff and piling more work on the few workers they have left. Everyone is looking for new jobs. No female providers are available for patients and so many of them are leaving as well. Holidays and personal time are all rolled into the big 20 - 25 days of personal time off that are your benefits. Try to take a vacation? Forget it. Not enough staff. Only senior management can take vacations. Wonderful staff but more leave every day. Want to sell your time back instead of using it? You get 50% of what it's worth. New employees start at about $14.00 an hour and after more than 8 years, you're lucky if you make $15.
