Well established HVAC company in the Capital Region is looking for a qualified HVAC Purchasing manager to join our team.

The Purchasing Manager will negotiate with vendors for the purchase of all materials, supplies, equipment and services for a company that has approximately $20 million in sales products and services annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes Purchasing Policies and ensure compliance throughout the company.
Evaluates suppliers focusing on lean or just-in-time inventories that prevent delays in daily production and service that could effect customer retention and company reputation.
Examines pricing, negotiates and supervises supply contracts and awards appropriately.
Responsible for replenishing daily orders and managing and successfully maintaining a low cost purchase part inventory.
The successful candidate must possess at least 8-10 years' experience managing a purchasing program prefereably within an HVAC environment. Extensive experience in inventory control, supplier selection / development and price negotiations is a must.
