A typical day includes going on appraisals and meeting with clients and taking photos and measurements. Then research is conducted on comparable properties and the data is entered into the computer. I then keep track of files in electronic and paper format. I learned proficient office skills, organization, self management and team work, as well as the importance of integrity. The hardest part would be going on appraisals in the winter because of the snow and working outside. I enjoyed helping my mother run the business and had a great sense of pride.
