I did do a fair bit of technical support and development, but I spent much of my time traveling to client sites in order to integrate our systems, and provide on-site technical support. As well as resolving difficult technical issues. I was told that I was hired out of a pool over over 100 applicants (this was nice to hear, but did put pressure on me to perform well). When I gave notice, my boss' boss asked me what the company can do to keep me. I gave 1 month versus the required 2-week notice.
