Aptare presents itself as a rapidly growing "start-up" with great potential to make money on your stock options. After working there, the officers admitted they are not planning to sell the company or go public. Many employees have left disappointed that the company was pitched to them that their options would be worth something in 2 years.
Since the company is small and privately held it is very cliquish and many employees (executives) are friends with the owners. There are almost no HR policies or procedures and the owners operate with impunity. There is little protection or appreciation for employees and all direction and strategy is controlled by the two owners of the company.
