Great place to work
Full cycle accounts payable (Former Employee), Hyattsville, MDSeptember 8, 2014
Pros: dinning room
Cons: no time to think
Receiving about 200 to 250 check requests per week. Batching, matching, coding, approvals, entering, posting, running checks every Friday and getting them ready for the mail. Once mailed I had to match up the check stubs with the check request for filing. I also was responsible for the 1099 process. There were four other locations I took care of other – more... then the main office building which housed about 150 employees. On top of the full cycle payables I also handled the office supplies purchasing for all locations. Once a month I also helped with the month end journal entries. – less

Pros: engaging people to work with.

I conducted team building exercises here. We became a tighter group and more productive as a result. This is a cross disability working group advising the Archdiocese of Washington on how parishes are doing with their members with disabilities.
