One thing is for sure, I never had a "typical" day. I worked with tthe teams internally, key accounts and over 100 sales reps so there was never a dull moment.
I worked with one of the owners on a daily basis which enabled me to learn alot in a short time. For instance, there was no elevator speech for our brand and product so he had me shadow and listen for quite some time after I started. Then one day he asked if I thought I was ready to present. I said yes not knowing he meant that I would be presenting to major account. I'm pleased to say we got the buy we wanted.
