The School offers an impressive portfolio of courses, including fully validated courses at Parts 1, 2, and 3, both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Landscape Architecture. The School also offers a series of MA courses, including Urban Design, and a unique and innovative MAs in Architectural Journalism and in Intervention Architecture.
Our – more... approach is unashamedly design led, and contemporary. Students are encouraged to cast a wide net for inspiration, looking to Architecture, Interiors, Art, Philosophy, Film, Media, Literature, Advertising, and all other forms of design. An understanding of contemporary culture is considered to be essential, as an appreciation of the world in which we live is necessary if one is to design for and within it.
The School puts the student experience at the heart of its ethos, and as such, the majority of activities are centred around the design studios. We strive to integrate architectural design with technological and environmental issues, and this integrated approach to learning is fostered by modules being organised in ‘clusters' to allow extended lines of enquiry.
The School also boasts well-established part time routes in all courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
