I worked here for 7 years and I really enjoyed my part time job.
I had great relationships with my co-workers and in the field. About 2 years ago, a new Project Director was hired and she was awful. She did not know what leadership was and her insecurity was outwardly portrayed by an air of superiority. Micromanagement was her middle name. Everything – more...  went downhill from then on. She lasted a year and then funding issues arose that made it very difficult to get anything done and still suceed. Their mission is altrusitic and honorable. I sincerely hope they can continue the great work they do without squeezing the heck out of their human assets. I might still be there had they not eliminated my part time position. – less

A typical day at work consisted of many phone calls, charting and visiting consumers. What i learned on this job was lots of information about Medicaid, and Medicare. The managment was very supportive of the staff and provided their team with the tools needed to be sucssesful. The co-worker were great and provided guidance. but unfortunately, they do not do enough community outreach so they are not well-known in the community they serve.
