Supervisor / Barista, Chicago, IL - September 29, 2015
A typical day at work for me was Opening Cafe', preparing cash draws and setting up the pastry case baking fresh Pastries, or closing cafe making bank deposits. I Learned a lot from my manager and the work flow at Argo Tea. Not all Managers was Like my manager she keep the team on top of sales, cross selling, up selling and knowing the knowledge of all the product. My co worker were awesome, I had a great team and becoming a supervisor, transiting from a barista to a supervisor they were very supportive. The hardest part of the Job I would say was the upper management, they micro managed, which was a head ache. The most enjoyable thing about working at Argo Tea was events we had for charities, running for kids with Cancer, providing samples for the Primo Center for Women and Children and the contest for the stores. Overall Its a great place to work if your a college student, someone without kids. Management is good for anyone, although Argo does allow you to move up in the company.
