A typical day of work at the Arizona Renaissance Festival included bagging trash bins and raking the assigned festival area, we learned how to quickly and efficiently clean areas of fair grounds and bathrooms without disturbing patrons.
The management aspect of the Festival was excellent, they were quick to respond and resolve any and all hiccups throughout the day.
As the Arizona Renaissance festival is a traveling business there is a wide variety of different cultures that make up the smaller businesses and workers of the festival, crew members usually being very relaxed and energetic, more than happy to stop and talk for short periods of time.
The hardest part of working at the festival is the fact that it is an outdoors festival, which mean dealing with high heat at all hours of the day.
The most enjoyable part is getting to work with close friends and being able to work at your own pace as long as you kept up with what you were assigned to.
