Sergeant (Current Employee) – Wrightsville, AR – October 31, 2017
A typical day at work is to have a role call and get the officers assigned to their posts. The culture of the workplace is inmates from all aspects of criminal activities. I learn everyday to be watchful and not to let my guards down. The hardest part of my job is not to let the inmates, my superiors, or my subordinate officers deter me from being fair, firm and consistent.
Living on the unit with minimal expense.
living on the unit means the first to be called if escaped inmate.
Warden's Administrative Asst./ Records Supervisor (Former Employee) – Luxora, AR – April 19, 2013
Very fast paced and rewarding job. Last minute change and obligations creating an enjoyable amount of urgency to the day to day work. Co-workers were very helpful and knowledgable about the job. The most enjoyable part of the job for me was dealing with the public as needed for establishing employer relationships for work release center. It was very important to be able to multi-task and move from one project to the other while still getting daily work done. I loved that challenge.
