Outside Sales Job Profile & Description

The Outside Sales Representative job entails determining, and capturing the product sales
outside the organization. It involves getting existing customers to order from us and securing
new business accounts through telephone, text, email, and personal visits. It is required to
provide detailed information about various products, programs, prices, and services offered by
the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

#1 – New Business

  • Generating & Developing New Business Accounts to be able to increase sales through

cold calling (and canvasing).

  • Effective Planning to conduct sales demos by meeting clients physically on a regular

basis.

  • Organizing joint scale calling with vendor representatives and/or sales management on a

regular basis.

  • Establish a professional relationship with your customer. (Be of value to them)

#2 – Increase Sales to Existing Customers

  • Organizing joint scale calling with vendor representatives and/or sales management on a

regular basis.

  • Scheduling sessions, meeting customers to be able to review item requirements, and to

determine other opportunities.

  • Effective Planning to conduct sales demos by meeting clients physically on a regular

basis.

  • Liaising between the organization and the customers for up-to-date condition on pricing,

assistance and latest product launches.
#3 – Sales & Support to Existing Customers

  • Providing item quotes to clients as needed.
  • Liaising between the organization and the customers for up-to-date condition on pricing,

assistance and latest product launches.

  • Designing professional demos or demos of organization goods and solutions while onsite.
  • Continuously upgrading all customers on item modifications, changes, and

improvements.
#4 – Service to Our Company

  • Enhancing current knowledge on new items, procedures, solutions and resources by

participating seminars and training meetings.

  • Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, understanding, and courtesy to represent the

organization in a professional manner.

  • Ensuring follow-up through a CRM program to sales manager with complete profile

customer details, calls to action, sources, dates, ETC.

  • Performing, upgrading and maintaining records of customers including contact names

and numbers for future revenue.

  • Keeping expense records.

Skills & Specifications

  • Capable of preserving private or sensitive details.
  • Effective efficient time control planning, organization and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Be able to confidently deal with many personalities.
  • Able to prospect New Business Prospects (Cold Calling)
  • Very strong communication abilities.
  • Very good team player and should work well under pressure.
  • Proven customer support skills.
  • Able to create value for your customer and your company.
