Bomb cleanup on Plum Tree Island refuge could take years
POQUOSON The cleanup of unexploded ordnance from Plum Tree Island National Wildlife Refuge could take years and tens of millions of dollars, the Army Corps of Engineers said Wednesday. The actual cost and time will not be known until a baseline study of the area is completed, said George Follett, project manager for the corps.
