Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Department: New Product Development

Reports To: NPD Manager

FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, install and administer SQL Server installations (2000, 2008 R2, 2012)
  • Design, install and administer HyperV installations
  • Design, install and administer Windows Operating system installations (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows server 2012)
  • Design and administer remote site networking and hardware components
  • Installing and administering development support tools (I.E. source code management tools, project management tools, automated build tools, etc.)
  • Provide tier 3 support in emergency situations
  • Design and maintain automated application deployment
  • Work with Developers and tier 1 & 2 support personnel
  • Manage, test and deploy updates to remote sites
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server installations
  • Strong knowledge of Networking and networking devices
  • Strong knowledge of windows based hardware peripherals and drivers
  • Strong knowledge of windows application installation and deployment tools
  • Strong documentation skills

PREFERRED

  • CISCO Certification(s)
  • MCSE Certification
  • MCSA Certification
  • Experience with Linux operating systems

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Minimum of Associates degree, 4-year degree preferred in related field
