Management needs to be less threatening and more friendly

There are a lot of "old timers" and they do not like new employees They treat you as an outsider, probably because they feel threatened. Everyone is afraid of management which makes working there stressful. Management never tells you how well you are doing, but will tell you how bad you do every chance they get. The food is superb. The chef is excellent to work for and has patience. This place is not a team oriented culture, even though you pool tips. If you are new, expect to get the worst shifts and the worst tables. You must be able to ignore criticism and work alone.
This place will test your resilience for a least 6 months. Computer system is unorganized and old. Overall the restaurant needs a face lift. Don't expect to get sick, its not acceptable even if you have a Doctors excuse or note.
