Director (Former Employee) – Cayce, SC – August 7, 2016
A fast paced environment where decisions were made quite quickly and without a great deal of bureaucracy involved. They were definitely active in growing the business and being a major player in the food industry.
Customer Care Representative (Former Employee) – Utah – July 1, 2016
Not a secure place to work and not much room for advancement. Cliquey work environment, co-workers are two faced and catty, people get fired at the drop of a hat. Management only favors their pets and if you don't fit in to their "clique" you are wasting your time being there. Started working in the Ogden office as a contractor with promises that position would lead to permanent full time work but after months of working there contract suddenly ended. Saw management all get promotions and huge raises but then noticed employees getting fired left and right. Was constantly reminded that I was only a temp and not entitled to any of the regular workers perks or advancement. Saw many other contractors and workers leave because of the low morale. Worked there for over a year, the office was fully staffed when I started left with just a skeleton crew of their favorites. Unless you fit in with their "clique" run the other way! One of my worst employment experiences ever.
free cookies and food samples, getting scheduled time off
Cliquey work environment, no room for advancemnet, high stress work environment
Packaging (Current Employee) – Cayce, SC – June 27, 2016
This is an ok place to work if you don't mind working whenever management changes the schedule with no notice. Machines that are 30+ yrs old and rarely run as intended. Incompetent upper management that doesn't know whats going on but wants to continue to run production and put out bad product. This type of work environment leads to high turnovers I would only recommend it for a temp job.
Work schedule, managment, production equipment, work schedule ( it deserved to be said again)
stressful times when the Disney rushes would occur.
Counter Express (Former Employee) – Anaheim, CA – June 8, 2016
I learned that working well with others determined how the shift went. As long as we all communicated with each other the process of getting the orders completed would go smoothly. The hardest part would be having to multitask when your co workers would slack off.
Disney park perks because I worked in the Anaheim Bakery.
Dough Maker (Former Employee) – Northlake, IL – June 4, 2016
Let's see they sell you all these fake opportunities and benefits of working here. Their training is done very poorly, they'll work you hard for very low pay. The hours & scheduling is ridiculous, basically you work a different time almost every day. Your soul will be sucked and crushed in this place just like Hilary Clinton did to Bill Clinton. You will be seen as lazy and slow if you can't keep up with the outrageous demands of packing and production. You can never plan anything even getting a Saturday off is a blessing from that wretched place. They have a high turnover rate for a reason and always burning thru multiple people. This place takes advantage of so many people that are stuck there & have families to support.
Can't have a life outside work, no sleep, no clear schedule, low pay, no flexible hours, temps walk out
Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) – Hazleton, PA – May 27, 2016
If you like working 12 days in a row with 1 - 2 days off then sign your name here ......... In maintenance you will work a lot of OT and be forced in on your weekends off. Plant manager is promising to much product to suppliers and the plant can't produce what they want to ship. So you run around all day or night putting band aids on machines to hopefully get you through till the down weekend to fix it the right way.
Lots of OT
No raises in two years, management, free bread and no loyalty to long term employees
machine operator (Former Employee) – Chicago Heights, IL – May 12, 2016
They hired people in management that had no experience in working in a factory ever. All management yells at employees and runs production fast sending out bad product to customers all they did was lose almost all of there customers at the plant i was at they need to just sell that plant and focus on all there other plants dont ever work for this plant in chicago heights they suck
Apply elsewhere, this is not a company you would want to work for.
Bakery Worker (Former Employee) – Northlake, IL – April 29, 2016
No leadership Management is always changing No communication within the organization Employee turnover is very high and for good reasons Long shifts with little notice 7 day work week No work/life balance No sick time (If you get sick you will be penalized) Unhappy employees who are unmotivated.
Packer (Former Employee) – Northlake, IL – April 28, 2016
Don't work here because they'll treat you like a machine but even their machines break down and need breaks. Seriously don't apply unless you're desperate and need money badly, Even McDonald's or any fast food place will treat you better like a human being. I'm serious this place needs better management.
Some nice coworkers
No work/life balance, horrible schedule, two faced bosses, low pay for hard work
It's and ok place to work if you stay to yourself. Issues with lots of confrontation with co-workers. Management are not that fair when it comes to treatment of employees. Pay is decent. Really not any hard work.
