Highs of this job was to be involved with the animals, and to know you are making a difference, I enjoyed making people happy when they would find their lost animal. Working with the staff was always a relief and they were fun to socialize with. The lows of this job was getting attached to the animals then having to let them go for new homes, seeing animals come in from bad homes, and ill. For training there wasn't much training, but being able to socialize, and fallow protocol and being able to have social skills with animals, and being able to stand for 3 hours, and have a positive attitude.
