Reading paper work to locate area of job. Assess the power lines distance to the trees and determine which trees are to be trimmed or removed. Making sure that all chain saws, ropes and climbing harness are in good working order. Getting and a good look at each tree that is to be climber to locate any hazards such as broken hanging branches and weak spots in the trees. Climb said tree and begin removing branches and determining which branches will be needed to be roped/rigged out. Bringing the butt log to a lower height than the primary power lines then dropping the butt log in the opposite direction of the power lines. Repeat until 9 hours have gone by.
