Well Support Foreman (Current Employee), Alpine, AKFebruary 15, 2014
Pros: 2 x 2 schedule, with a nice camp and free food
Cons: needs a retirement program
A typical day is: Daily time sheets, put together a morning meeting of safety concerns and a work list for the day. Take phone calls and re-dispatch crews to job priority. Manage fluids and equipment for coil tubing, Wags, Squeezes, Hot flushes, Fracs ECT. Walk down new jobs and bid and put hours on the task at hand. Keep crew up on all safety training – more... for VTA and to make sure crew is working safe. – less

Painter/General Foreman/ Scaffolder (Former Employee), Nikiski, AKSeptember 16, 2013
this job was very sparatic making it very difficult to maintain a structured budget. from week to week would never know if there was work or not. As I advanced and had better compensation the opportunity to work hours decreased.

Previous employee (Former Employee), Prudhoe Bay, AKJune 26, 2013
Pros: lots of good people work here
Cons: they don't stay long!
Jobs are plentiful because they fire so many people! If you want a job where you feel like you have a voice and some ownership in the direction of the company, don't apply at ASRC!

I love how it really is an open door policy. The President is very connected with everyone and is easy to talk to. Its like your working for a family and not with strangers.

Fitter/welder (Former Employee), Anchorage AlaskaOctober 18, 2012
Fit and weld structure steel in a high tolerance professional manner. I learned far more about North Slope construction and proceedures. General foreman was very knolegable and understanding. Co-workers were of varied ethnic backgrounds which meant for a very diverse and good atmosphere. The most enjoyable part was looking at a completed job.
