Pros: the commute. perhaps.
Cons: dirty goverment contractor.
I worked for ARSC as a GIS Technician for three years. Briefly summed up. The company is agist- they won't hire somebody that has too much education or is further on in their career since there is absolutely no advancement potential. The contract was cut by the government in February and instead of honestly letting us know the situation they came in with the 'two bobs' for a Friday surprise and laid off 3/4 of the employees completely based on seniority rather than work performance. If you are absolutely desperate ASRC might be a good place to work otherwise I personally would wait for another opportunity.
