I learned to overcome negatives and approved listening skills. The hardest part of this job was collecting payments on accounts 15 years old. The most enjoyable part of this job was challenging myself and hitting my montly call by building postdates and collecting urgency payments.

collect past stat debt on accounts that went deliquent in 90 to 180 days past stat .also work to prep accounts for lawyers that will try to sew them for non pymt.

the company is about collecting bad debt that they have bought

My overall review of Asset Acceptance was it is a oubound and inbound call center where you have to collect money and you have a goal each money to hit and if not met you will be terminated. I just dont want to hold a job where its very stressful to collect money from an economy that is in a recession.

I was working at Asset during the house building boom and a healthier economy. Many times debtors that we were searching for,for months would call in out of the blue to pay off a $10,000- $25,000 six year old account. Many times it was the very debt that was owed that was keeping the debtor from obtaining his/her dreamhome due to his/her credit bureau.So – more...  with this kaind of help , achieving a $64,000 goal was a piece of cake. – less

This company is sooo bad. They make you work for a goal that they know is un-attainable because they select who they want to make goal. They pick and choose who they want at this company. People are stressed out loosing sleep over not making goal having strokes. A lady right now is in ICU because of her stress in being on a pip list meaning they are going to walk you out the door. There is no job security at this place. The supervisors are a joke. They all come from Warren and they are very good friends and stick together. Get on one supervisors bad side and you have wrote your self a walk out the door. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY
