Spin Instructor (Current Employee), Chico, CAJuly 18, 2014
I teaching spin in a group exercise setting at Chico State's WREC Center through Associated Students. It is a wonderful opportunity for growth within the school's community as a current student. I am currently subbing for spin classes until the Fall semester begins. Then, I will be teaching five spin classes a week. A typical class involves me periodically giving my class cues on the upcoming exercise on the bike, reminding them how their form should look on the bike while also being safe, as well as motivating the class to work as hard as they can in order to keep up a healthy and active lifestyle. That is the most enjoyable part of the job. The hardest part is keeping myself motivated on days I am tired. However, seeing the students simply showing up to class and working hard inspires me to be the best I can.

Pros: student leader teamwork
Best way to outreach to students to help them understand the significance of students elections. I was fortunate enough to work along student leaders that made it a priority to bring to students on campus of the opportunity to serve as a leader in student government.

Conference and Events Assistant (Current Employee), Pomona, CAMay 15, 2013
Pros: free lunches, great pay, flexible hours
Cons: short breaks, always on the run
Productive and a great place to meet new people and what clubs are going on on campus. Co-workers become friends because you are able to work your full shift with them. Hardest part of the job is trying to set up an event in a short amount of time and other events going around at the same time. Most enjoyable part of the job is being able to help people succeed with events they are running.
