About Association Development Group
The Association Development Group, Inc. has been hired to consult on an international association-building project in Africa. Joseph Van De Loo, CEO, is in Lusaka, Zambia, where he will serve as a consultant to the Local Partners Capacity Building Program (LPCB).
LPCB is implemented through United States Agency for International Development (USAID) – more... and in partnership with the Academy for Educational Development (AED). This humanitarian program is designed to improve the overall capacity of selected local Non-Government Organizations, faith-based organizations, and partner organizations to ensure efficient and effective expansion of their efforts to deliver quality HIV/AIDS services.
ADG will work with LPCB's Organization Development Advisors to form the Institute for Organization Development Facilitators (IODF). hese facilitators help groups use the management tools and skills acquired in LPCB trainings. Together with the Institute's leaders, ADG will build on the momentum the founders have achieved in establishing and defining this new professional association. Van De Loo will work with the group's leaders on creating a sustainable professional association, including defining the organization's structure, mandate, and functions, as well as providing support in drafting a strategic plan.
