great people to work with
Sales (Current Employee), MarylandOctober 25, 2013
Pros: great co-workers
Cons: managing my time and workload
Everyone at Astrum works hard and slackers leave quickly. Strong sense that we're working as part of a team. Don't socialize with people outside of work, but at work, everyone is respectful and nice.
Have learned alot about renewable energy! Such a great field to be in!
Compensation is fair. Most people get quarterly bonuses.
Communication from management – more... was bad, but recently improved. – less

Exciting, fast paced company with lots of room for growth
Operations (Current Employee), Baltimore, MDSeptember 30, 2013
Astrum is a rapidly growing company in an exciting industry.

The small but expanding company means the office culture is informal and fun but committed to hard, efficient work. For office employees, workday start and end times are flexible and dress is business casual.

The growing nature of the solar industry means there are frequent changes to employees' – more... week-to-week duties. There's always something new to learn. The growing nature of the business means there are always opportunities to try new positions and move and advance in your career. Management recognizes and promotes hard-working problem solvers. – less

Cons: not enough typing space
NO company advancement
NO pay increases
Always being lied to
3 Massive lay offs in a short lifetime
If you are not in a management role you do not matter
You pay will always be inaccurate if you get paid at all
NO HR in place
Upper Management does not get along
This company has a very bad name in the solar business
This company is dead broke and cannot – more... pay employees all the time
This was the worst company I have ever worked for
The environment that has been created by management is very dismal and people after getting hired quit very quickly
