Application Design & Development Engineer
Atadex provides integrated information system solutions to the logistics industry including Data & Application Integration, Real Time Location Management and Document Management. Our capabilities are founded on the track record of our management team, which encompasses both entrepreneurial success and thought leadership in multiple fields.
We are a nimble highly responsive organization that moves swiftly from concept to execution by drawing on the ideas of our people and allowing them to shape solutions. Our customers appreciate our ability to rapidly understand their problems and deliver solutions without compromising on quality or resilience.
We value people who can capture broad concepts and turn them into innovative products and solutions, which really impact the way our customers operate.
Atadex is like nowhere else you will ever work because we listen to ideas and give people the responsibility to deliver them. We don’t have tiers of managers but we do have a lot of talent delivering great ideas with passion.
We are seeking an Application Design and Delivery engineer who can turn conceptual descriptions of business requirements into robust functional solutions.
This is a role with exceptional depth and potential; an opportunity to develop a framework of interlocking solutions, from the ground up, working closely with our most senior leaders on a daily basis.
We are seeking someone with an ability to be able to grasp a business requirement concept, map out a solution, look down range and foresee both issues and opportunities and then rapidly develop a functioning solution.
This role is key to our navigating through a period of rapid expansion leading to abundant opportunities for career progression and personal growth. It is an “all in” role for a person who has a mixture of technical capabilities and an ability to use a whiteboard to articulate their vision.
We seek someone who has a passion for owning their ideas, pursuing them and delivering innovative solutions.
To join our team you need to be able to demonstrate that you have the ability to understand a business need, the capability to map out the fundamental technology issues and an ability to translate that perception into working systems. We are more interested in an ability to “see the solution”, articulate it and then deliver it than we are in a track record of leading development teams.
This is a role for a person who really wants to be an individual contributor – someone who wants to own the project and make it a success. This role should be a transformational one for the successful candidate propelling them from the traditional developer role into one where they become a key catalyst for change. While we value solid academic qualifications this is a role where real world knowledge and individual capability are very important and so we welcome applications from those without a formal academic track record.
The benefits package will reflect the importance of this role and the capabilities of the successful candidate.
