Pick-up samples of solutions, components, raw materials, and chemicals. Prepare samples for visual and gage inspections and testing. Records results and make distribution to various areas making sure that all forms/records are correct and samples are kept segregated when necessary

Machinist/Project Employee (Former Employee), Promentory, Ut – March 22, 2013
Pros: was not pushed for hundreds of parts each day
Cons: 1 hr drive each way daily
A typical day started at abgt 4:am and went to 4:pm m-f working a 5-4-9 shift, I learned that being in a hurry was not in anyone intrest so slow down and double or triple check everything if need be, and to ask for help if not sure about something.

Support Technician (Current Employee), Independence, MO – December 11, 2012
I work nights as an Inspector now, my job in-tales inspecting bullets for the government. Co-workers and I work well as a team. Hardest part of the job is working 12 hour shifts at night. The money and benefits are good which makes it worth it.

Fun workplace with challanges and rewards
Sr. Supervisor (Current Employee), Iuka, MS – November 7, 2012
Pros: challanges
Cons: meetings
I start my day, directing my employees their tasks for the day, meet with upper management for escalation issues and report planned /actuals results. I am very engaged in problem solving and customers interaction. We are progressing toward a lean manufacturing company.

Interesting
Ammunition Packer (Former Employee), Independence, MO – October 6, 2012
Pros: great company
Cons: long hours
Dealing with bullets can always be interesting because you never know when a pop is going happen. A pop off is when a bullet randomly goes off.
I learned how to inspect bullets, and how to be a team player.
My co-workers were absolutley amazing bunch of people and I would not have traded them with anyone else in the world. We all enjoyed eachothers – more... company and made the work day go by so much faster, because working 12 hour days there is not much you can do to make the day go by faster unless you have something to do and thats what we did for eachother. We are eachothers escape goats of time if you might say.
The hardest part of the day is the 12 hour shifts that you are trying to get through so you can go home and see your family. – less

lead operator, Detail forman (Former Employee), Radford, VA – August 17, 2012
Pros: pay check
Cons: long hrs wih very sort breaks. no incentives.
Start building, ran safety meeting, ran production. I learned how to b a better leader. Managment : I loved working for all of my bosses. They didn't make me feel that I was capable of doing my job. I worked hard every day but never felt appreciated. Not all managment was like this. Co workers: I enjoyed my job and my co workers. Like in all jobs there – more... are differences but nothing that can't be solved. There was nothin.g hard about the job but the hardest thing was pleasing the managment. The most enjoyable part of my job was knowing that at the end of day I did my job and fulfilled customers orders. Also knowing that what I did is helping our military perform their duties safely. – less

Pros: pay was excellant
Cons: air force inspectors
Co-workers wre very good to work with. Start at 6 am go thru the schedule of the day, order what is needed pack explosives for shipment and load truck.
The hardest part of the job was working the 12 hr early shift, had to leave for work at 2 am and drive 50 miles and worked in a warm enviroment for 12 1/2 hrs.
I think the most enjoyable part was the – more... people I worked with. – less
