Habitat for Humanity is the ideal place to work for someone with construction management experience.
The culture is great, the mission is honorable, the work is fun, the resources are available, the management is amazing.
The only problem with working for Habitat for Humanity is the compensation. Being a non-profit, funds are always tights. Most materials are donated, but actual cash flow to pay employees is tight and thus salaries and benefits are really low.
The work/life balance cannot be beat anywhere.
