Human Resources Coordinator
We are a growing healthcare facility and we are looking to expand our Human Resources Department.
We are looking for a very bright and enthusiastic person to fill this Human Resources position. You will work directly under the Director of Human Resources.
You should have strong organizanational skills. A pleasant attititude and great computer skills. In return you will learn a variety of Human Resources functions and grow along with our dynamic company. This is a full time position with great benefits. You will also need to go to some of our other facilities in the New York City or Long Island location. This will be seldom but may occur, for this reason a relaible car is necessary. We have more 500 employees in 15 locations.
All applicants must succesfully pass a background and criminal history screening.
Assisting HR Director in all capacities, including:
taking photo ID's
providing paperwork to payroll
auditing and creating HR files
collecting documents for I-9 forms
Getting references for new hires
Assiting applicants with new hire packets
Assiting with open enrollment
Following up on background screening
Assiting with job posting
Assisting with Job Descriptions
Some college, Bachelor Degree preferred
Previous experience in a healthcare environment desired
Previous experience in Human Resources required
Excellent organization skills
Excellent communication skills
Fast Learner and able to learn complex regulations and procedures
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Positive and customer service friendly attitude
Excellent typing skills
Excellent grammar and writing skills
Ability to work in a highly sensitive department and maintain a very high level of confidentiality
Ability to lift and bend
