Making a Positive Impact: Careers at Atria

Atria employees enjoy rewards and incentives that set us apart in the senior living industry. But having the opportunity to serve the remarkable people who call us home is a benefit all its own.

Helping older adults live better – and helping their families find peace of mind – is fulfilling on many levels, and it's a big reason why so many Atria employees describe their jobs as part career, part calling.

Our employees often tell us their greatest job satisfaction comes from the opportunity to serve and support older people. While we are accustomed to hearing this, it is something we do not take for granted.

Rewarding our employees and helping them grow personally and professionally is key to providing the best service to our residents.

Atria residents bring actress Kristen Bell to tears

Residents and staff from Atria communities – who bonded with Kristen during the Hurricane Irma evacuation – jumped at the chance to wish their friend good luck hosting the 2018 SAG Awards, as well as send virtual hugs, love and gratitude for her support and warm company during the storm.

  • World traveler, now gratitude expert and ballroom dancer, living her best life at Atria.
Lillian rose early for her morning walk and began to reflect on her many blessings. Some came long ago, like the day Anthony walked into her family’s restaurant and found not only the Western Chinese cuisine he missed from his homeland, but also the courage to ask her out (eventually). And the time they traveled to Hawaii, where he convinced his now-bride to hula on stage in front of everyone.
She went on to recall the blessings she enjoys today. Friends. Tai chi. Children. Lobster. Music. Grandchildren. Ballroom dancing. And Anthony. “Eat well and exercise,” Lillian advises. “And be grateful for all you have.”
