Set in a vibrant neighborhood at the heart of the Twin Cities, Augsburg College offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and seven graduate degrees to more than 4,000 students of diverse backgrounds. The trademark of an Augsburg education is its emphasis on direct, personal experience. Augsburg educates students to be informed citizens, thoughtful stewards, critical thinkers, and responsible leaders.
Augsburg's undergraduate program of liberal arts and sciences is offered on both a traditional weekday schedule and a non-traditional weekend and evening schedule. Augsburg offers master's degree programs in business, education, leadership, nursing, physician assistant studies, and social work, and a doctoral program in nursing practice.
Augsburg's 4,000 students come from diverse religious, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, representing 43 states, 40 foreign countries, and 24 tribal nations/reservations. The College also is a nationally recognized leader in providing services to students with physical or learning disabilities. This on-campus diversity is enhanced by Augsburg's location at the crossroads of the Twin Cities' most diverse neighborhoods.
