I completely disagree with this review. I was a nurse at Augustana in Minneapolis (the transitional care unit) and it was a HORRIBLE place to work. I cannot speak for other units in the building, but I will for this one. The training was terrible, the workload was unbearable (and you got in trouble if you stayed late, but most people had no choice, including those who were seasoned nurses), the other nurses were snooty, and the employee turnover rate in that unit was so high that there was no one who permanently worked in that unit to even train me. Other employees who had been there for a while got out of there fast when I first started and moved to another facility, and I can see why. The clinical manager did nothing to help except bark at everyone else, but don't expect her to help if you're running behind. If you can help it, find somewhere else to work!
