Small work place with lots of opportunity to learn and participate in otherwise unexplored respiratory endeavors
RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (Former Employee) – Quincy, CA – June 14, 2012
Although this was generally a slow paced position which consisted of lots of out patient care such as ekg's, holters, event monitoring, abg's, and office management, it was also in direct liason with er, which included participation in all cardio/pulmonary emergecies and all births. There were cardioversions, resusitations, gunshots, and many end stage copders. The most enjoyable part were the co-workers and the patients. Although it was a small mountain community, and slow acceptance was expected, the people were really friendly. The hardest part was my fear of some thing coming up that I was not familiar with and not being able to get in touch with the dept head - which happened a few times - but it was figured out (executive decision)
Aureus is soon to be owned by Medical Solutions and with this hopefully they will get better management and fire certain recruiters also will cease there under-cutting motives.
To add get your add posting right , the need for a CRT/RRT is it for a RT or Registered Dietician??
Job Work/Life Balance
Dedication Means Nothing to Aureus !!
Medical Lab Technician- Generalist (Former Employee) – Cody Wyoming – May 15, 2016
I gave 3.5 years of dedicated work with this company. I was ill treated on my last position with them and they didn't stand behind me. A PRN employee of the facility wanted to become permanent and so I was ousted.... Aureus even tried to make me pay back my unemployment benefits and they lost in court. My dedication to them and my word meant nothing! Never again will I recommend Aureus...
Fusion Medical is the bomb! They will treat you right!
Histology Technician (Current Employee) – Flagstaff, AZ – June 25, 2016
I am a contract worker for this company. I have been with them for over a year now. My work day starts pretty early in the morning and that is what I prefer. Although I haven't experienced it, there could come a time where my company can't place me on an assignment because of the number of jobs needed. Overall I enjoy working for this company.
Per Diem Radiologic Technologist (Current Employee) – Omaha, NE – March 22, 2016
It's nice being a travelling tech because I get to live in different places for a few months at a time. I get to work in different hospitals, meeting new people. My managers are very good at keeping in touch with me. They promptly inform me of any possible positions available. They take very good care of me while I'm on an assignment. The hardest part of the job is leaving my family for long periods.
My vacations between assignments are as long as I want.
Ultrasound Technologist (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – March 15, 2016
This company like most companies will not stand behind you. Doesn't matter that the job is asking you to do things they specifically asked you not to do... But changed their mind and then expect you to go against what you were told over and over . The hospital I worked for had actually fired 6 people prior to trying to hire me. I was told if I apologized I could work for them. I refused to back down to their demands and moved on and never looked back. These companies do not realize we are going into unpleasant positions and when they don't workout you are the probkem! It's not a fair position to be in.
Medical Technologist (Current Employee) – Minnesota – April 29, 2016
This company is great to work for! I had an issue with the place I was staying due to the property manager and lease agreement, however my account manager had me in a way nicer place within 4 days after our phone conversation. The pay is amazing, especially if you get on call overtime!!!
ultrasound technologist (Former Employee) – Pittsburgh, PA – January 5, 2016
I have been an ultrasound technologist traveler for over 20 years and loved all my traveling assignments until I started working for them!! I have never been so humiliated about the way they treat you as a person and professional... They will never take your side and never listen to your situation!!! They are only interested in making money off you no matter the situation you are dealing with at the facility....
Traveling EEG Technician (Former Employee) – Omaha, NE 68154 – February 4, 2016
Aureus is great for the experienced Tech looking to further their experience. You never know what you signed up for until you get to the assignment, but Aureus takes good care of it's contractors, as far as providing room, board, per diam, and as uch info and support as you need throughout your travels.
Travel CNA (Current Employee) – Omaha, NE – February 22, 2016
This was the first time I've worked with a travel agency and they were very helpful and patient with me. They made sure I made it to my destination safely and also that I was living in a safe environment that was in close distance to the job. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do travel work as a nurse or aide.
Terrible company to work for. The recruiters will promise you anything to get you in an assignment and not follow through with any of the promises.
Respiratory Therapist (Former Employee) – Albany – December 30, 2015
I took an assignment working nightshift NICU and was made to work every weekend doing floor therapy with ADULTS. recruiter refused to talk with manager and change the assignment. I did not recieve any differential for NICU experience or working weekends. Recruiters are horrible. Out to make the bucks for themselves.
technician (Former Employee) – California – November 16, 2015
Had a terrible recruiter, that lied about the job. No extra benefits.did not care about tech,it was all about him making money. Op facility, typical issues, mgt not good, most of the people I worked with were nice. Pts nice. Small dept, hard to work with small number of people. Location was nice for sight seeing, but very expensive to live. I would not recommend this company to work for unless u had a different recruiter.... Maybe.
Terrible recruiter...lied bout most everything, very $$ oriented
Recruiter (Current Employee) – Omaha, NE – January 6, 2016
I really enjoy working at Aureus. Many places are boast of their culture and say that they are a really great company. Aureus, however, doesn't boast. They do not put themselves out there, but they do try to be the best. The leadership is humble and present. I see my CEO on a regular basis. The managers and leaders truly look out for your best interest. They are passionate about your success. The training is very efficient and detailed. There are many opportunities for growth and advancement at Aureus.
Stepping into the roll of a recruiter was difficult for me. It is a very fast paced environment and a very different type of work. I help people find jobs and at the end of the day, I know that I have made an impact on the economy, society, families, and individuals. Aureus and their leadership team puts in a lot of effort to counteract any negative aspects of the job and they have put together one of the best work environments I have seen.
Travel RN (Current Employee) – Omaha, NE – January 10, 2016
Aureus Medical is an exemplary company who worked overtime to provide all my criteria for a safe assignment. They constantly check in to make sure the assignment is going well. A recruiter is always available.
Aureus Supervisor (Current Employee) – Omaha, NE – October 20, 2015
focused, supportive, and uplifting company. excellent managers great call back when needed informed IT staffing impressive benefits portfolio willing to assist with everything from the mundane to the complex
PTA (Former Employee) – Roswell, Santa Fe, – September 2, 2015
Contracted with a facility that the PTA had walked out of the previous week. The PT was not available for that facility that day. It took me a week of 12 to 13 hour days to bring all the documentation up to date. According to AUREUS no one was available to help. I signed a contract with AUREUS for Oroville, CA. Traveled to California and reported to the facility to be told that they had contracted with another travel company and that the PTA had been there for two weeks!
