Identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by users of various servers and desktop systems, troubleshoot and solve local-area network problems; provide technical support to end-users
regarding computer hardware and software; install, test, and troubleshoot network cabling; install configured network equipment; provides technical expertise to end-users regarding optimal set-up for software, hardware and network use.
The Computer Hardware Technician / Network Associate analyzes computer and network related problems reported by end-users, diagnoses the most effective method to resolve the problem and implements the solution; installs, maintains, and troubleshoots Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), data communications, microcomputers and all peripheral equipment.
Network + or Server+ Certification is preferred but not absolutely necessary for an experienced qualified tech.
The right candidate must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Must also be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Compensation = Base Pay ($12 - $15 per hour) + Commision + Yearly Bonuses
Base pay will be based on experience and certifications.
