I had only one manager, who was in collections, that could be counted on, I was in customer service. I was expected to lie to the customers, and had a heated discussion with my supervisor, when I refused to. This same person changed the computer system so we could not accept payments using more than one credit/bank card when the customers were used to being able to use multiple cards, thus making it more difficult for them to take care of the payment and ended up taking it out on the CSR's. Co-workers were great, couldn't ask for better. Definitely in need of customer service supervisors who would not take off to smoke or who would not push to make it more difficult for the customer or the reps.
Like I mentioned earlier, there was one assistant manager in the collections department that was not only on top of things in her department, but no matter who called on her, she was pleasant and treated all in the same manner, employees as well as customers. I might have stayed if I was in her department.
