Position Responsibilities:

-Follows safety rules
-Demonstrates knowledge of electrical power distribution for complex machinery
-Demonstrates the ability to design and create electrical schematics to suit new machine requirements by reading machine blueprints and delivers accurate drawings in AUTOCAD
-Demonstrates knowledge of latest controls for temperature sensing, cycle timing, solenoids, safety barriers, and some knowledge of robotics a plus
-Demonstrates knowledge of and hands-on competency in electrical panel layout based on I/O usage, control wiring, labeling, and voltage isolation
-Demonstrates knowledge of PLC programming (Allen Bradley, IDEC, Siemens, etc) with ladder logic creation and HMI screen development
-Assures quality by developing test procedures and implementing
-Capable of creating electrical BOM per project in Excel
-Strong grasp of verbal and written communication skills should be demonstrated with documented creation of written procedures in English
-A history of completing projects on time is required
-A high level of organization and job cleanliness should be demonstrated
-Familiarity with pneumatics, hydraulics, heating systems for air and liquid using gas, steam or electricity is a plus
-Demonstrates a positive attitude at all times and understands the value of customer service

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma
Minimum 7 years experience in electrical system development, production and maintenance
Must be able to work standing, stooping, sitting, from a ladder, or in a prone position
Must be able to lift and carry up to 75-lbs.
Must be able to work with arms overhead
Must be able to work in environments with temperature ranges from 30 to 100+ degrees
Must be able and willing to travel occasionally on start-up projects
Must be able to work in a celll phone-free shop
Must be able to enter secure Government facilities (No prior felonies, clean driver’s license, US citizen)
