IT Support, Valdosta, GA - April 17, 2014
This job provided me a great entry-level opportunity. A typical day consists of fielding phone calls with occasional service calls. There is a measure of freedom to pursue knowledge in all the areas of the company. Co-workers are easy to work with and are willing to assist.
Being in an industry that is currently undergoing many changes, it can prove difficult to keep tabs on everything, especially when there are less than 15 people trying to manage 150+ clients. Sometimes upper management is not as thorough as they could be when planning/implementing projects and you may not get enough 'heads-up' when you are a part of a project.
I have been able to put my programming skills to work and gain further experience with software/hardware troubleshooting and repair. My favorite part of the job is actually getting to work on client computers and configure their software/hardware in an organized and systematic fashion.
