Boring work, no performance reviews (but they happily fire for lack of performance), no promotions, raises, rare (if any) and arbitrary bonuses. Majority of senior technical staff walked out so quick they couldn't keep the door from swinging in 2011, so-called 'new management' is all the same, only the names changed. Strings are pulled from HQ in the – more... UK, US-based management busies themselves with politics and talking instead of doing. None of insanely high profit margin is invested into development or tools, Autonomy 'does not pay for software tools'. They continue to hire sales people, while they are unable to replace technical staff, the customer gets the short end of the stick. Short-sighted assignment of development staff to projects changes frequently, feeling is of a consulting shop rather than a software development environment. – less
