AvAirPros Services, Inc. has been involved with the JFK Terminal One Project since March 1997, 14 months prior to DBO of the new facility. AvAirPros currently manages the day-to-day affairs of Terminal One Group Association, L.P. (TOGA) and its General Partner Terminal One Management, Inc (TOMI), which are equally owned by Air France, Korean Air, Japan Airlines and Lufthansa German Airlines. In this management role, AvAirPros is responsible for all facilities and more than $140 million of annual contracts.
JFK Terminal One is comprised of a common-use eleven-gate international passenger terminal that provides the highest levels of passenger service and efficient airline operations. Facilities include 96 common-use check-in counters incorporating MUSE and electronic signage, an automated baggage sortation system, in-line 2-D and 3-D baggage x-ray, ?luffing? passenger loading bridges, PC-air, ground power, potable water, ramp equipment and an FIS facility capable of processing 2,000 passengers per hour.
AvAirPros manages all JFK Terminal One operating contracts including janitorial, facilities maintenance, security check-point, building security, ramp tower, skycaps, wheelchairs, ramp operations, aircraft cabin cleaning, ground service equipment maintenance and snow removal. AvAirPros manages all JFK Terminal One concession agreements and licenses including duty free, specialty retail, news and gifts, food and beverage, advertising, and business and passenger services.
AvAirPros actively markets JFK Terminal One and has been successful in securing additional airline tenants for the Terminal. In addition to the four partner airline leases, eight tenant airline leases are managed today by AvAirPros. Management services include assignment and administration of exclusively leased premises, check-in counter and gate scheduling and assignment, in-transit lounge scheduling and assignment, and operational issues interface. AvAirPros is the primary contact with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in the administration of the Terminal One site lease and airport wide issues.
AvAirPros is responsible for all aspects of the TOGA and TOMI finances including cost control, revenue control, invoicing, collections, cash management, investments, bookkeeping, capital funding, reserves management and partner airline net cost allocations.
As a result of AvAirPros? involvement at JFK Terminal One, the TOGA partner airlines have experienced a 50% decrease in net operating costs over four years while continuing to enjoy superior service levels in a quality facility. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
