A typical day at work includes either opening or closing the store depending on the shift of coarse. Opening includes going to the bank a few times a week for deposits, counting drawer funds, and setting up for the day. Closing includes, cleaning/straightening up, recounting drawer funds, counting receipts, and gathering media.
During my time working for this company, I've learned what it takes to be a sales associate in retail. I've also learned the importance of being able to speak clearly and confidently to others. Lastly, I've learned how to properly size and order clothing.
My co-workers are fantastic. They've all been so supportive of each other from the start. Each of my co-workers know when and how to separate play and work, which is what I believe makes our company so successful.
The hardest pat of the job depends on the customer. If someone comes it happy, knowing, or at least has an idea of what they want, the job is easy. If someone comes in not in the best of moods and isn't sure what they want it can be challenging. Especially when the goal is to keep our customers happy.
Th most enjoyable part of the job is when a customer leaves happy. When you know you've helped them find exactly what they wanted and they walk out with a smile on their face.
