It was a great place to work. My co workers were friendly and very helpful in showing me what needed to be done.

I enjoyed helping customers at Avenue with their fashions. I was always busy with multi-tasking projects. I learned new and better management skills as far as time management, handling noncompliant coworkers, and what not to do in a business environment to keep customers and employees satisfied. Also, I found the condescending behavior of the District Manager appalling as well as the level of unprofessionalism conducted by the Store Manager. The best part about this was helping our plus size customers feel and look their best. Also the joy to see repeat customers in the store who have become like friends because you see them so much!

Working a the avenue has been a wonderful learning experience. Management is very personable while upholding high expectations for all employees. The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing that Ive made connections with several customers who look forward to seeing me when they come in.

The company has very poor management, the job is fun due to the customers but very difficult to work with the DM due to the store manager not following her directions and the DM then gets angry at the associates.

Typical day is reading daily sale goals,I learned that just a simple hello will turn anybodys day to a great sale.Management leads by example.my co-works loved to work with me always taught them to love what you do.the hardest part of my job was notthing really always was a head on straight person.i enjoyed meeting different people.

Assigned to buildings Command Center Station. Operator of One Facility computer system used to control access for tenants and vendors.

Escort tenants vendors and messengers
Supervised a staff of 12 employees. assign duties, work schedules and off-times.

I loved working at Avenue! But it is ridiculous to work a TOTAL of 3 hours in the whole month of April!

I was a store manager, training manager and a District manager. I enjoyed working with the people and had a great customer base.

When i first started at the Avenue Plus Size Clothing Store. i started in Redwood City Ca. I had only been with trhe company 3months, an was asked by the district manager and 1st Owner to start training for an Assistant Manager. I was with the Redwood City Store for 1 year and 3mo before moving to Sacramento Ca. Where i started at the Avenue in Florin – more... Mall. stayed there till i was transfered to Mesa Arizona for a Co-Manager positrion. I had recieved the okay to go ahead that my transfer was Granted. When i arrived dec.19, 2011 I called the District Manager to let her know i had arrived. She stated she would have to call me back. New Years Day, she calls and tells me she found someone else????? and i still dont wanna take them to court eventho alot of people tell me i could. I'd rather had my job... – less
