AxelaCare started with a discussion at the coffee table of Ted and Kathee Kramm. As healthcare professionals ─ Ted a practicing pharmacist and Kathee a trained nurse ─ both shared a vision to create an infusion provider unlike all others. One that put the patient first… above everything else.
Ted, Kathee and several other individuals from the healthcare industry joined together to form the AxelaCare founding team. Combining their depth of knowledge and experience, they built a company that provides patient-focused, state-of-the-art infusion services for acute, hemophilia and especially Intravenous Immune Globulin (IVIg) therapies.
AxelaCare recently developed a breakthrough technology, CareExchange®, with the help of leading doctors from the fields of neurology, immunology and clinical outcomes research. Collaborative research with clinical investigators, advocacy organizations, manufacturers and Managed Care companies is a core element of the company’s future growth strategy.
The company’s expansion since 2010, 30-40 percent per year, has been evolving steadily and now includes a program to acquire and partner with regional and national infusion pharmacies. – less
