The Content Manager at Bachman’s is responsible for developing relevant, compelling, and integrated online content across all digital properties including websites, email and social media.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Write, proof, update and maintain web content for home page, product data/descriptions, landing pages, e-mails, web promotions, and social media posts.
Identify online content opportunities, make recommendations and implement site enhancements based on site usability testing/feedback.
Work daily with web designer/developer on overall look, useablility and performance of
Requires excellent cross-functional partnership (Marketing, Merchandising, IS, Communications Center) and strong organizational skills to define and deliver content on schedule.
Provide analytics and reporting.
Search Engine Optimization improvements and reporting.
Regular analysis of site search terms– adjust meta data and other SEO elements to improve site and SEO performance.

Secondary Job Responsibilities

Attend weekly Marketing Services meeting and update team on upcoming web initiatives.
Provide product and site design knowledge.
Respond to online customer inquiries.
Manage Gift fulfillment ordering and inventory.

Desired Qualifications:
3 to 5+ years of online content management experience with web-based platforms/technology for creating, managing, and publishing web content.
Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to work with internal marketing and information technology departments and external agencies to design and enhance web applications.
Knowledge of best practices in web usability, design, and writing for the web
Proven ability to write and edit Web-based content using correct grammar, punctuation, and usage
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks while meeting deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to quickly build effective working relationships with individuals in a variety of business functions.
Knowledge of basic SEO
Prior experience in eCommerce
Solid understanding of current Internet technologies and familiarity with HTML, Drupal, Photoshop and Google Analytics.
