Worked there for 2+ years, I enjoyed the building aspect only.
The Tacoma location has a huge trade area, you'll be expected to drive for hours in most cases, on your own dollar. Even though the company charges the customer for extra milage they don't share this fairly with the builder.
You will be expected to have a full size truck and trailer, your own tools, a Contractors License, paint equipment and more.
The pay is poor for what you have to put out, and the leadership could be improved greatly. Caught the Manager talking negatively about other builders and employees on a regular basis.
The days are long and the pay is well below average... this branch is always under staffed which puts even more stress on the builders.
The "Office Manager" is the most rude person you will ever have to deal with, as a builder you are not allowed in the office area and don't even think about calling her if you have any administrative needs... on the other hand you are expected to answer her call to your personal phone on the first ring, or else!
All in all, I am happy that I worked there and got to experience this in my life, I learned what "not" to be as an individual.
