Bailey Information Technology Consultants, LLC currently has an opening for a qualified Information Assurance (IA) Engineer.
Description: Subject matter expertise in information assurance (IA) processes and documentation in support of Navy/Marine programs. The Information Assurance Engineer will support IA design, analysis, architecture, development, testing and integration for a major DoD system. The candidate will be experienced in implementing IA in accordance with DoD IA security policies, plans, and procedures. The successful candidate shall demonstrate subject matter expertise in developing an IA strategy for certification and accreditation (C&A) in compliance with the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP). The qualified candidate will develop and implement system security designs, test plans, and procedures. The candidate will verify and validate system security requirements.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of five years relevant work experience in Information Assurance/C&A.
CISSP certification is required.
Experienced in IA processes and C&A of large DoD systems.
Knowledge of DIACAP (DoD 8510.01, DoD 8500.2) requirements.
Experienced with system architectures, security tools, risk analysis.
Knowledge of Navy IA guidance, DCID 6/3 and XACTA is preferred.
EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s Degree in systems engineering, computer science, or related field. Three years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for Bachelor’s Degree.
Must Currently Possess: Secret Clearance Level. Potential for Teleworking: No Relocation Assistance: Travel: 30%-40% Classification: Exempt Status: Full-time
