Mental Health Specialist (Current Employee) – Lackawanna, NY – April 13, 2016
Great job if your intentions are for the children. A lot of hard work and you must put up with quite a bit. It can become taxing on your body and the physical intervention is no fun at all. It can also be very rewarding to know that you are helping a child out. You form bonds with children that they will always remember but it's hard. Employees should get paid more and it is easy to become worn out. The actual job is different from the job description provided.
Special Education Itinerant Teacher (Current Employee) – Lackawanna, NY – July 30, 2014
I have worked for Baker Victory Services since 2007 as a special education teacher in the classroom and the past two years as a SEIT(Special Education Itinerant therapist) I love working with the children and the one on one interaction with them on a daily basis!! As a SEIT therapist there is no chance to grow in my field intellectually which I am looking towards in doing in my career.
Working one on one with children, being able to travel around the area.
