Very useful and learn a lot professional experience
Intern in Financial Security Department (Former Employee), Wuhan – March 25, 2013
When I intern in Bank of China last summer as a Financial Assistant to help manage customers, I found out that many customers left out branch and went to other banks or other branches of Bank of China because they couldn’t get the most latest financial securities information, and key customers were treated undifferentiated as small customers, it made – more... key customers feel unhappy because they brought more profit to the branch. The most popular securities for this branch is low risk short term, from 25 days to 190 days, financial products, So I advise my manager to classify the customers to different level: the First one is key active customers, those own a lot liquid capital( over 1 million) and are willing to invest into financial securities. For these customers, I just need to provide new financial security and they will come to me. The second one is key passive customers, those have a lot of cash but they don’t purchase the securities frequently. For this kind of customers, I should spend more time on explaining the features of the products, the low risk, high yield(especially 5%annual yield), and short term(25 days to 190 days). The third one is regular customers, who owns capital from 100,000 to 1 million. The last one is small customers, who owns less than 100,000. According to customer levels, different consulting services would be provided to them.
Finally, the monthly financial products sales reached 8 million Yen ranked the first place in my city, our customer satisfaction increased substantially due to my proposal. – less

valuable internship
Intern as a Credit Manager Assistant (Former Employee), Xiamen, Fujian Province, China – March 9, 2013
Pros: learn new things and make new friends
Cons: a little boring and unpaid
1. I did both professional work (e.g.writing credit report, contact customers through phone) and non-professional work (e.g.print and copy documents, organized my co-workers' documents).
2. I had opportunity to practice my VBA skill and also I learned how to communicate well with customers.
3. My supervisors are very nice and I got along well with my – more... co-workers.
4. The hardest part of the job was that I felt like I was overqualified for that position and I would love to do something more challenge. – less

Dealing with data and clients
Office Director Assistant, Car Loan Department (Former Employee), Guangzhou, China – February 6, 2013
Pros: free and insightful study of banking system
Cons: a little boring
In here I work with data and deal with clients applying for car loan. I input their information into data and answer related questions based on these data. Although the work is not hard, it requires both carefulness and speed. My supervisor taught me a lot about banking and how the system works. I found the work a little bit boring, yet at the end of – more... the intern I did learn a lot. – less
